In the same way that if we do not have a home we can not be together. If we can not be together, we will never have a home.
Everyone is entitled to their opinion as long as it's the same as mine.
There is nothing we can do to prevent the life cycle of a human being from ending. But, the pubs that served the people before us could so easily live for many centuries or even millennia if only they, the economy they depend on, and the society that loves them were properly maintained.
